Ruth Rosenhek
Board Chairperson
Ruth Rosenhek has been Chair of the NORWACS Board for 2 years.
Ruth works as a trauma psychotherapist, nature wisdom facilitator and social and environmental just activist. She co-founded the NORWACS Foodscapes program that aims to up-skill women in food growing while increasing community resilience. Ruth lives on a community where she grows her own food.

Jill McCall
Ordinary Board Member
Jill McCall joined the Board of NORWACS in 2018 and is currently secretary. Jill works in the education sector as a Project Manager and is also a film maker. Jill’s latest project from her film production company Piece Together Productions, is a set of 35 films for the school curriculum showcasing people developing innovative solutions to serious environmental challenges.

Cindy Taylor
Board Treasurer
Cindy joined the Board of NORWACS in 2019 and has served as Treasurer since 2020. Cindy owns a bookkeeping practice and works as a virtual finance officer for small business around Australia. Cindy’s passion is working with female business owners to help build not only a profitable business but a sustainable one that supports, them, their family and their community.

Samantha Crompvoets
Ordinary Board Member
Sam has a background as an academic, entrepreneur, consultant, and advisor to federal government and the private sector on issues to do with women’s health policy and advocacy, domestic and family violence, institutional misconduct, and integrating women into traditionally male dominated fields. She is passionate about empowering women in business, having founded and run her own small business for eight years.

Thi-Anh Smith
Board Secretary
Thi-Anh is the newest NORWACS board member having joined the board in 2020.
She has a background in advertising and education and now works in health as the Patient Experience Manager in a Hospital Emergency Department – a unique, challenging but very rewarding role.
